Proper Dining Attire

As a general rule members and their guests are expected to be properly attired at all times. Jackets are required in the Main Bar and Wedgewood Dining Room on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday after 6pm. Collared shirts are required at all times, throughout the Club and facilities.

Ladies are requested to wear skirts, dresses or other appropriate attire. The Club reserves the right to refuse to serve, or accommodate anyone not properly attired.

The following are considered improper attire anywhere on the Club grounds: Tee shirts, sweat shirts, sweat suits, short shorts, cutoff shorts, running shorts, bathing suits, tank or halter tops, jean skirts, jean jackets, crew neck sweaters without a collared shirt and trousers with patch pockets.

Jeans may be worn, at any time, only on the lower level of the Clubhouse, including Locker Rooms, Grill Room, Grill Room Patio and Fire Pit area. This does not extend to other areas of the Club, specifically the main floor, second floor of the Clubhouse, or golf course and practice areas. Please refrain from wearing jeans anywhere else while at the Club.

Proper attire for the golf course will be full length trousers or Bermuda length shorts (no shorter than 3 inches above the knee), collared shirt and proper golf foot wear. Turtle neck shirts and sweaters are permitted for golf. Shirts must be tucked into trousers unless designed to be worn outside (ribbed hem).

The use of steel spiked golf shoes is prohibited on the golf course. Golf shoes should be restricted to the course, the grounds, the locker room and Grill Room area.

Tennis members and their guests must wear proper tennis attire, bearing no inscriptions, logos, etc., except the Nissequogue logo or small designer logo.

Tennis attire may not be worn when using the putting green, driving range or golf course.
